Hi everyone! Seth and I spent the past few days in San Francisco with the kiddos. Seth's work had a conference at the Hilton downtown in Union Square, so we thought we would make it a family trip and enjoy the city together. Usually when we go to the bay area, we don't stay in the city, but rather in Los Altos, where Seth's work is located. This time we were in such a prime location and the babies had a blast! Our hotel room was beautiful (although not very kid -friendly) and the view from our room on the 19th floor was amazing. Fortunately, our three pack-n-play cribs all fit in the room along with all the other many necessary items required when traveling with three toddlers. Since I was alone with the kids most of the days when Seth was at his conferences, I did my best to show them around Union Square even though they're obviously too young to remember, but we sure did have a great time. The triplets caught a lot of attention from tourists and people walking downtown...there's something about that colorful triplet wagon that just brings a lot of attention to them. So many people asked me if they could take a pictures of the babies and I didn't mind, plus a lot of people returned the favor and took a picture of me with the kids. I took them to the Zeum Children's museum, to San Francisco shopping center, to the huge Disney store downtown, and all over Union Square. The weather was absolutely beautiful and perfect. The kiddos got to try fresh croissants from one of my favorite bakeries and mini vanilla sprinkled cupcakes. Everything I wanted to try, they wanted to try. I even got in a little shopping at the awesome San Francisco Shopping Center which has so many of my favorite stores. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better trip! I'm still amazed at how well the babies did with the drive to and from San Francisco, especially since I did the drive back to Reno by myself last night (Seth had to stay a couple more days for work)...thank goodness for the DVD player and lots of snacks!
Before I get to the pictures of SF, I wanted to post proof of the crib swapping madness that goes on between Madeline and Mischa on a daily basis since I mentioned this in the last post. They are like little monkeys and climb into each other's crib constantly!
This picture shows Madeline asleep in Mischa's crib
And this is Mischa in Madeline's crib the next night...these girls are TOO much!
Meanwhile, this is Caleb sleeping like a little angel in his crib...he's misses out on all the fun since his crib is all by itself on the other side of the room
Since our hotel room didn't have a bathtub, I had to make do with a shower
As you can see, they had a blast playing with the removable water head
Getting dried off after baths
Getting ready to head out for our first adventure in the city
Madeline is ready to go!
Caleb just couldn't contain himself
Mischa was ready too!

The kiddos loved this toy monkey that laughed and rolled around in this box

Eating their mini cupcakes back at the hotel (Caleb was giving Madeline his frosting)
Finger-licking good!
Caleb loved the sprinkles
Mischa had a mouthful here
So cute the way they all sat so still on the bed...cupcakes will do that for you
